Circuit of the Americas

The Circuit of the Americas is 5.513 kilometres long and has 20 turns. Its most iconic feature is the steep bank to Turn 1 – an impressive drop of around 30 metres that makes for spectacular starts and overtaking opportunities.

The layout combines elements of several classic circuits: the first sector has fast corners inspired by Silverstone and the last sector has flowing corners similar to those of Istanbul Park.

Another distinguishing feature is the “amphitheatre” style of the grandstands, which offers fans excellent views of several parts of the circuit at once.

For most visitors, the most efficient way to reach the circuit is by using the official shuttle services. These shuttle buses depart from various locations in Austin, including downtown and designated parking lots around the city.
